From the engagement session to wedding day the communication flowed effortlessly between Brittany and I. Email truly is a beautiful thing! You would think that photographing weddings on routine bases that they would become kinda cookie cutter in a sense.
Nope. Not a chance!
This is why communication is vital in preparation for a wedding day! Brittany, Jim and I had talked the week of their wedding about where and how photos would take place. What I needed and what they wanted. All the details laid out. So on the day of the wedding, everyone knew what to expect. And you know what, a few hiccups happened along the way! And it was no big deal!
Brittany and Jim were married at the Lakeview Country Club in a family and friend filled ceremony. And Jim!! Oh my gosh, the emotions poured when he saw Brittany coming down the aisle!
Like most weddings after the ceremony and family photos, we headed out for some wedding party & bride and groom portraits.
And now here is where it gets interesting…
Brittany loves the beach. And Jim proposed on the beach. So guess where we headed?! But the beach location wasn’t practical for an entire wedding party. So I did a quick walk around the grounds and found a gorgeous flower garden that may or may not have been open to the public. But who could deny that light?! And that color?!
We had a blast and everyone was in great spirits throughout our shooting time. And when we were finished off we went to the reception at Caper’s. And folks BEST MEAL EVER! Jim had told me the food was really good, and he wasn’t lying! Photographers are always happy when they are fed 😉
